On August 21st, a seminar was held at Cape Busena, allowing guests staying at the hotel and local children to participate. Attendees boarded a glass-bottom boat to observe fish and coral inhabiting the waters of Busena. They also collected seashells and coral fragments on the beach for observation under microscopes, providing an experience to explore the ecology of Okinawa's sea.
The seminar received cooperation from the following organizations : JAMSTEC (GODAC - International Marine Environmental Information Center), Aramco Asia Japan K.K., Busena Underwater Observatory, Bankoku Shinryokan.
