THALGO

The origin of the word “THALGO” comes from the Greek word “Thalassa (sea)” and the French word “Algo (algae)”.

THALGO continues its pursuit of genuine beauty, and its history began in 1964. In 1966, the world-renowned Laboratoires Brevet Lisence Commercialisation commercialized "Marine algae" with an original manufacturing method (manufacturing patent), thereby establishing the status of a brand representing marine beauty and spa therapy.

Marine algae has been used for thalassotherapy (marine therapy) for many years, as well as for the treatment of skin diseases, vascular and circulatory condition, etc. THALGO applied Marine algae to the field of beauty and health by developing and commercializing cosmetics containing extracts of marine plants to pursue "health, beauty and vitality".

With the increasing interest in preventive medicine in recent years, thalassotherapy has been adopted in the fields of diet and fitness for a healthy body, recovery of mental and physical fatigue, and also in beauty care industry.

THALGO's treatments and products make the most effective use of thalassotherapy, which is approved by medical and academic fields.
