What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in time is from 2:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Check-in and check-out times may differ depending on the accommodation plan.

Do you have connecting rooms?

Yes, the following room types offer the option of adjoining rooms: Deluxe Ocean Front, Deluxe Ocean Front-Club Floor, Penthouse Suite.

What is the maximum occupancy of your guest rooms?

Single, double, and triple occupancy limits differ from room to room. Please confirm the details on the official website's guest room page.

How big are your beds?

Bed types and sizes differ according to room type. You will find these details provided under each room listing.

What about Internet connectivity?

Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided throughout the hotel, including our guest rooms. Should you require a LAN cable or other peripherals, or be in need of any assistance in securing a connection, please notify Butler Service.

Do you have wheelchair-accessible rooms?

While our Superior Ocean Front-2F, Maisonette and Club Villas have stairs, nearly all other room types are fully wheelchair-accessible. Upon request we can provide bedside and toilet handrails, non-slip bath mats, and shower chairs. Please notify us in advance should you require any of these items.

Do you have non-smoking rooms?

All the rooms are non-smoking. Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes is strictly prohibited in the room and on the balcony. If you are found smoking or if our staff finds cigarette-butts in your room, you will be charged JPY 20,000 cleaning and compensation fee.
* Please use the designated smoking space on the premises for smoking.

Do I need to make a reservation to use the parking lot?

Reservations for parking are not required. Guests are welcome to come directly to the entrance for valet service. Parking fee is JPY 1,500 per car per night (including tax and service charge).

Can luggage be sent to the hotel in advance of our arrival?

If you wish to send luggage in advance, please fill in the name of the representative of your stay, the name of the person to whom the luggage is being sent, and the date of arrival, and send it to the hotel.

Can I have a self arranged babysitter or masseuse come to my room?

We kindly request that guests refrain from entering rooms other than their own. If you wish to have a babysitter or a masseuse, we will be happy to provide information on our affiliated partners at the resort.

Is there a dress code for the restaurant?

At the Main Dining 'Fanuan,' casual attire is not permitted during dinner service. Men are kindly requested to wear shirts and trousers covering the knees, while women are encouraged to wear evening dresses. We kindly ask guests to refrain from wearing beach sandals, slippers, or similar footwear.

Are your restaurants non-smoking?

All of our restaurants and bars are non-smoking.

Are the restaurants open daily?

Do your restaurants have private rooms?

Private rooms for up to 16 persons are available at the Main Dining "Fanuan" and Japanese Restaurant "Mahae". Please inquire for details on the private room usage fee and limited menu.

Are there any restaurants with a sunset view?

Guests can enjoy sunset dining at the Main Dining "Fanuan", the terrace seating at the Café Terrace "La Tida", or at the Seafood Market "Rumble Fish". We also have live saxophone music by the pool for 30 minutes before and after sunset.

Where can we try Okinawan food?

Our Japanese Restaurant "Mahae" offers some local specialties.

At all of our restaurants, we are pleased to accommodate requests for meals free of the following common food allergens. Family Travel

Can children stay for free?

There is no extra charge for children up to age five. From age six, children count as part of each room's occupancy. (Not all room types allow small children, however.) Please note that the age limit may differ depending on the accommodation plan.

Do you have children's pajamas?

We provide loungewear in size 130 cm.

Do you have bassinets and strollers?

Yes, a limited number are available for complimentary use on a first-come, first-served basis.

Do you sell baby products in the hotel?

The "Convenience Store" on the hotel premises offers baby food, diapers, baby soap, etc.

Can you assist with baby food?

Yes, this can be prepared for you, for a fee. Please notify us no later than seven days prior to your date of arrival. Does the restaurant have a children's menu?

The menu varies by season at each restaurant, and we also offer some options for children's menus. Please check the menu posted on our website for more information.

Are there any restaurants that are not accessible to children?

The use of the main dining room "Fanuan" and Teppanyaki Restaurant "Ryutan" is limited to elementary school students and older. In the bar, guests under 20 years old are not allowed to use the bar after 9:00 p.m.

Can children in diapers use the pool and beach?

Children wearing swimsuits over water diapers may use the pool and beach. Water diapers are available for purchase at the Activity Counter.


How far away is the beach?

The hotel sits directly on the beach; it is a brief two- or three-minute walk.

How long does the swimming season last?

The beach is open for swimming all year round. There are no lifeguards on duty between the month of November and March. Please notify the staff at the Activity Counter before you enter the beach.

Do you have a pool?

Yes. The use of our two outdoor pools and indoor pool is complimentary for all guests. The indoor swimming facility is open daily year-round and includes a shallow pool for small children. Our two landscaped outdoor pools are open in season; the lower-tier pool is equipped with a water slide.

Can we use the beach or pools before check-in or after check-out?

Yes, of course. Our butlers will be pleased to store your luggage for you. When changing, please use the locker rooms at "Refreshing Square" on the 1st floor of the South Tower.

Do you have a gym?

Yes. It is equipped with running machines, aerobikes, and cross trainers for an all-over, low-impact workout. No weight-training equipment is available at this time. Guests aged 13 and up may use this facility. Bathing suits are not allowed.

Are shoes or other items available for rent at the gym?

Shoes for use of the gym and tennis courts are available for rent free of charge. Please bring your own socks.

Do you have spa baths?

Yes. We have spa baths and dry sauna facilities for men and women.

I heard that tattoos are not allowed at many pools and spas in Japan. What is your policy?

At all Terrace Hotel properties, tattoos of any kind may not be shown when on hotel premises. Within the lobby, restaurants, and other public spaces, please wear attire that fully conceals them. Likewise, rash guards or other appropriate swimwear are required at our pools and on the beach. Unfortunately, the spa and sauna facilities are not available for use.

Is there a laundromat available?

A 24-hour washer/dryer (fee required) is available on the first floor of the South Tower.

Can I book a rental car at the hotel?

We are pleased to assist you with reservations at Orix Rent-A-Car Onna branch. Car delivery to the hotel is also available, so please inquire for more details.

Do I have to pay for parking when using restaurants, stores, etc.?

If you are only using the restaurant or store, you will not be charged for parking. Please park in the parking lot by yourself.

Is there a convenience store?

A convenience store is located within a 5-minute walk from the main building in the "Banyan Village" on the hotel grounds.

Is there a vending machine for beverages?

There are no vending machines inside the building. Please use the in-room minibar (charged) or the 'convenience store' on the resort premises.

Are medicines sold at the resort?

We do not sell medicine within the hotel. However, we can guide you to a pharmacy which is approximately 20-minutes from the resort.

Is there an ATM at the hotel?

No. The closest ATM is located within a convenience store about a 10-minutes drive away.

Is there anywhere to do fireworks?

No. Doing fireworks are prohibited on any Hotel's property including the Beach.


Is there a rental service for items such as swimsuits and training wear?

We do not offer rental services for swimsuits or training wear, but they are available for purchase at the activity counter and hotel shops.

I'm interested in your Introductory Diving session, but I've never dived before. What do I need to know?

Each dive is a two-hour session. Starting times are posted daily and are subject to weather and tidal conditions. Ages 10 and up can participate. Same-day air travel is not recommended.

This activity is not recommended for pregnant women. Guests with any pre-existing health conditions are advised to check with their doctor beforehand.

To participate, you will need a bathing suit and sandals. These may be purchased at our resort, but are not available for rent. We also recommend sufficient use of sunscreen!

Soft contact lenses may be worn while diving, however we do provide prescription-lens goggles. If you are concerned about the safety of diving while wearing contact lenses, we recommend that you bring a case to store them in during your dive.

How do I make a reservation?

Is there an age restriction?

Only customers aged 18 and above are eligible to use our services.

Can I receive the service while wearing contact lenses?

We recommend removing contact lenses when receiving a facial treatment.

I'm not staying at the hotel. Can I still book an appointment?

Yes, guests who are not staying at The Busena Terrace can also receive treatments at Terrace Spa.

Should I arrive earlier than my scheduled appointment time?

Please arrive at the Terrace Spa before your appointment time.You can relax in the spa area starting 30 minutes before your reservation time. Please note that if you arrive late for your appointment, you may not be able to receive the desired treatment, so we appreciate your understanding in advance.

What if I am running late for my reservation time.

How far in advance should cancellations be made?

Please contact us as soon as your plans are confirmed (The Busena Terrace : Tel: +81 (0)980-51-1333). Please note that for cancellations after 7:00 p.m. on the day before the scheduled use date, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged, so please be careful.

What if I'm not feeling well on the day of my appointment?

If you are not feeling well, or if you have an injury, allergy, or skin condition, please inform us in advance. Depending on your physical condition and reservation details, you may be unable to receive treatments. Please refrain from drinking alcohol before any treatment.

I would like to go to a sister property.

For guests staying at The Terrace Hotels, we operate a dedicated free shuttle bus between our hotels. As seating is limited, we recommend making a reservation in advance.

Is there a hospital nearby?

Yes.Two hospitals are located approximately 20-25 minutes drive from the hotel.


What are the possible starting times for a wedding ceremony?

We recommend a 12-noon ceremony, although 12:30 p.m. starting times may also be accommodated. To give you our full attention, The Busena Terrace hosts just one wedding party per day. Our reception venues may be reserved from 1 p.m.

Is the ceremony a Christian one?

While the style follows Protestant customs, it is a civil ceremony in which the bride and groom declare their vows before the witnesses gathered. Please note that we are unable to accommodate Catholic observances.

How many guests may attend the ceremony?

Maximum numbers differ at each of the three venues we offer, the largest being 50.

Is it possible to hold just the ceremony at the hotel, with no reception?

Yes, although we accept such requests only on weekdays, or weekends that are designated "unlucky days" according to the old calendar.

Are there accommodation discounts available for the bride, groom, and attendees?

We have special accommodation rates for the bride, groom, and attendees. For more details, please contact the bridal staff.

Do you provide individual changing rooms and private waiting areas for wedding party attendants?

No. Wedding party attendants who are staying at other hotels are advised to arrive dressed for the occasion, as separate changing facilities are unavailable.

Where can our attendants go for kimono fittings and hair styling on the day of the wedding? Is there a salon within the hotel?

Unfortunately, we do not have an on-site beauty salon or dressing room. If attendees wish to rent attire (morning dress or formal kimono), we can introduce you to affiliated stores. Additionally, if attendees bring their own formal attire, such as a formal kimono, dressing and hairstyling can be accommodated for up to four individuals in the same preparation room as the bride and groom.

How will the meetings be conducted?

After the contract is concluded, post-deal meetings can be conducted through email, phone calls, or online (Zoom). Once the schedule is finalized, you can proceed with arranging wedding attire and travel. The detailed plans for the ceremony and reception will be assembled through discussions with the assigned staff approximately three months before the wedding. If you are unable to visit the hotel in person, we will provide support to ensure your peace of mind.

Can we make our own, separate arrangements for some aspects of the wedding?

Yes, however separate arrangements are not allowed for photography and hair styling-these are provided as part of our contract with you. Please note that for some components, such as formal-wear rental and take-away gifts for your guests, a fee is charged when separate arrangements are made.

Can children attend the wedding ceremony and reception?

There is no age restriction for the main dining, including the "Fanuan" dining area, during the banquet/reception. Children of any age are welcome to attend both the wedding ceremony and the reception, so please feel at ease.

What are the differences compared to other hotels or venues?

The most significant feature is that we limit weddings to one couple per day. With the concept of celebrating the happiness of only the two of you on this day, we support an irreplaceable day throughout the entire hotel. Additionally, we offer a tailor-made style, including ceremonies on the terrace overlooking the sea and parties in the main dining area with a view of the ocean.
