[7/29 - 8/27] Sanshin Lesson

Join our hands-on workshop to explore the traditional Okinawan classical instrument, the sanshin. Learn about the sanshin’s rich history, how to read its unique musical notation (kunkunshi), proper posture, how to hold the chimi (plectrum), and fundamental playing techniques. Immerse yourself in Okinawa’s musical heritage as you experience the joy of playing this iconic instrument.

Held every Wednesday and Thursday

・Sanshin practice instruments are provided.
・Traditional tea confections, including brown sugar delicacies, are provided for your enjoyment.
