Workshop at BUSENA 2026 Summer

At The Busena Terrace, we are pleased to present Workshops at Busena, a series of hands-on experiences guided by artists active across Okinawa. Guests are invited to explore the island through creative expression, from crafting a simple telescope using a magnifying glass to creating charming accessories from marine plastic and discovering resin art. Sessions also include lessons in the traditional Okinawan instrument, the sanshin. Each experience offers a meaningful way to engage with local culture and create lasting memories of your stay.

Create Your Own Telescope with a Magnifying Glass

Get hands-on and craft your own telescope using a magnifying glass at our fun and interactive workshop.

Hours	1 p.m. - 6 p.m. (Last accepted at 5:30 p.m) 30 - 40 minutes
Age Limit	No restrictions on who can board（Guardian required for children under 9） ・A family friendly event.

Resin Art Workshop

Enjoy a hands-on resin art experience using synthetic resin to create stunning ocean-inspired designs on coasters or small trays, capturing the beauty of shoreline waves. You can also craft your own original accessories using colorful marine plastics collected through beachcombing.

Sanshin Lesson

Join our hands-on workshop to explore the traditional Okinawan classical instrument, the sanshin.Immerse yourself in Okinawa’s musical heritage as you experience the joy of playing this iconic instrument.
