Guest Rooms

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in time is from 3:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Check-in and check-out times may differ depending on the accommodation plan.

Is the private pool heated?

We offer rooms with either a regular temperature pool or a heated pool. Rooms with a heated pool are available from October 1st to May 15th.

Do you have non-smoking rooms?

All our rooms are non-smoking rooms.Smoking including the use of electronic cigarettes is strictly prohibited in the room and on the balcony. If you are found smoking or if our staff should find cigarette-butts in your room, you will be charged a 20,000 JPY cleaning and compensation fee.

What about Internet connectivity?

Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided throughout the hotel, including our guest rooms. Should you require a LAN cable or other peripherals, or be in need of any assistance in securing a connection, please notify Butler Service.

Do you have wheelchair-accessible rooms?

Most of the rooms in the Tower Building have entrances wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs. We also offer loaner items such as 'non-slip bath mats' and 'bath chairs' for accessibility.
*Please note that the availability of these items is limited, so we recommend inquiring in advance. We also have accessible rooms available.

What rental equipment is available?

The following items are available for rent, free of charge. Since quantities are limited, please request them in advance.

Can luggage be sent to the hotel in advance of our arrival?

Yes, we will hold the luggage in safekeeping for you until the time of your arrival. The address label must indicate the guest's name, the name of the sender, and the check-in date. Please send the luggage to this address:

Family Travel

Can children stay for free?

There is no extra charge for children up to age five. From age six, children count as part of each room's occupancy. Please note that the age limit may differ depending on the accommodation plan.

Do you have a children's pool?

We have an outdoor children's pool (depth 30 cm), open from April through October.

Can children who are wearing diapers use the pool or beach?

You can use the pool or beach if you wear swimwear over water play diapers. Water play diapers are available for purchase at the shop.

Do you have a children's menu?

We offer set menus for children, including pasta and soup, at our Fine Dining restaurant and through in-room dining. (Reservation required by 4:00 PM on the day of service).

Can you assist with baby food?

This can be prepared for you, for a fee. Please notify us no later than seven days prior to your date of arrival. We will also ask about allergy-related concerns at the time you place your request. Do you have children's pajamas?

We provide loungewear in size 130 cm.

Do you offer rental equipment for children?

We provide baby cribs, bed guards, strollers, and other items free of charge. As quantities are limited, please reserve in advance.

We can arrange an on-call babysitting service that will take care of your child in your hotel room.

    Delight in the flavors of fresh vegetables from 'OUR FARM' and locally sourced, premium beef and pork, all grilled to perfection on a dedicated grill.

Is there a dress code for the restaurant?

For dinner at our 'Fine Dining' restaurant, we kindly ask guests to avoid casual attire.
Men are requested to wear shirts with pants that cover the knees, while women are encouraged to wear resort dresses or elegant outfits. Please refrain from wearing beach sandals, slippers, or similar footwear.

We're not staying at the hotel. Can we still dine at your restaurants?

Access to the restaurant and other hotel facilities is reserved exclusively for guests staying at The Uza Terrace.

Are there any restaurants where I can dine in my swimsuit?

You may use the shop and café in your swimsuit as long as you wear the pool gown provided in your room.

Where can we try Okinawan food?

Some Okinawan menu items are available for in-room dining.

I would like to use the restaurant for a special occasion. Is it possible to arrange for a cake or other items for the celebration?

We can accommodate arrangements such as cakes and bouquets tailored to your preferences. Please contact the hotel directly.

Can you accommodate special dietary requests?

We can accommodate menu requests for the 7 major allergens (shrimp, crab, wheat, dairy products, eggs, peanuts, and soba). Please contact us at least one week before your arrival. For allergens other than these 7, we may not be able to accommodate them, so please confirm with the hotel in advance.

Facilities

Is parking available at the hotel?

We provide valet service for those staying with us, so please drive directly to the entrance.
The parking fee is JPY 1,500 per night per vehicle (tax inclusive). Additionally, if you stay for 5 nights or more, parking is free from the 6th night onward (up to a maximum of 5 nights).

Do you have a gym?

Yes. It is equipped with running machines, aerobikes, and a weight bench with bands and dumbbells for an all-over, low-impact workout. No weight-training equipment is available at this time. Guests aged 13 and up may use this facility.
*Bathing suits are not allowed.

Do you have a indoor pool?

We do not have an indoor pool. We offer an outdoor pool (open from April to October) and a private pool within the villas.
For guests who wish to use an indoor pool, we recommend the indoor pool at our sister hotel, The Busena Terrace.

We're not staying at the hotel. Can we use the hotel facilities?

Hotel facilities are reserved for in-house guests only. Please be aware that non-staying guests are not permitted to access or use these facilities.

I heard that tattoos are not allowed at many pools and spas in Japan. What is your policy?

At all Terrace Hotel properties, tattoos of any kind may not be shown when on hotel premises. Within the lobby, restaurants, and other public spaces, please wear attire that fully conceals them. Likewise, a rash guard or other appropriate swimwear is required at our pools.

Is there a convenience store?

We do not have a convenience store, but our 'Shop & Café' offers a selection of items such as snacks, small goods, sandwiches, and smoothies for takeout.
For guests who need a convenience store, we can direct you to one located about a 5-minute drive away.

Is there an ATM at the hotel?

No. The closest ATM is located within a convenience store about a 5-minute drive away.

Are fireworks allowed?

Fireworks are not allowed on the beach or elsewhere within the hotel grounds.

Activities

Do you offer marine activities?

We offer charter programs for private cruises, along with seasonal activities such as snorkeling, SUP, and boat BBQs.
For beach activities, we recommend nearby Zampa Beach and Nirai Beach.

Is swimming permitted at Uza Beach?

The beach in front of the hotel, Uza Beach, is designated as a natural beach in Okinawa Prefecture and does not have protective nets or designated swimming areas. There are no lifeguards on duty, so swimming is not recommended.
For guests who wish to swim at a beach, we recommend nearby Zampa Beach or Nirai Beach.

Do you offer rentals for swimsuits or floaties?

We do not offer rentals for swimsuits or floaties, but they are available for purchase at the 'Shop & Café' on the premises. Additionally, beach sandals (available in M and L sizes) are provided in the guest rooms for your use.

Can men use the facilities?

Yes, all treatments on offer can be enjoyed by men or women.

Are there treatments available for pregnant women?

We offer special treatments for guests who are in their second trimester (16 to 32 weeks) or are breastfeeding, ensuring their safety and comfort. For more details, please contact the spa.

Is there an age restriction?

Only customers aged 18 and above are eligible to use our services.

Can I wear my contact lenses during a treatment?

For facials, we recommend that contact lenses be removed. If necessary please bring your own case and solution.

What if I am running late for my reservation time.

Please note that if you arrive late for your reservation time, it may result in not being able to receive the desired treatment.

How far in advance should cancellations be made?

Please note that for cancellations after 12:00 p.m. on the day before the scheduled use date, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged, so please be careful.

What if I'm not feeling well on the day of my appointment?

Please inform us in advance if you have any health issues, injuries, allergies, have consumed alcohol, or if your skin condition is not optimal. Additionally, if you have sunburn or rashes that affect your skin condition, we may not be able to provide certain treatments. Thank you for your understanding.
