New Year Celebration 2026

To conclude 2025 and welcome the new year, we present a selection of festive events and seasonal menus. Begin the year in warmth and serenity at The Atta Terrace Club Towers, here in tropical Okinawa.

New Year's Eve Live

At The Atta Terrace Club Towers, a New Year’s Eve live performance will be held in the Library Lounge & Bar to illuminate the final moments of the year. Welcome the dawning of a radiant new year, accompanied by vibrant live music.

Special Live Performance

Miwa Uehara (Vo.)
Born in Okinawa, she was raised in a music-loving family and became familiar with genres ranging from pop and Japanese ballads to canzone and jazz.She began her career as a commercial and chorus vocalist while still a student and has since appeared on television, at live events, and as an opening act for artists such as Maria Howell and Kiyomi Suzuki. She continues to perform actively today.

Shingo Segawa (Pf.)
Born in Osaka, he began teaching himself piano at the age of 17. Inspired by Keith Jarrett’s pure improvisation, he later studied under Philip Strange and Kiyoshi Takeshita.After relocating to Tokyo in 2011, he performed alongside leading musicians across a wide range of genres, with jazz at the core of his work. Since moving to Okinawa in 2019, he has expanded his activities to include performing with Broadway musical actress Yuka Takara’s band and composing for film.

New Year's Eve

Year-end soba (Okinawa soba)

In keeping with the tradition of cutting away the misfortunes of the past year and inviting good fortune for the next, we will be serving Year-end soba (Okinawa soba) to mark the transition into the new year.

Welcoming the New Year at The Atta Terrace Club Towers

On New Year’s Day, beneath the gentle light of the first sunrise, the poolside becomes a festive setting for traditional celebrations, including mochitsuki, a ceremonial kagami-biraki, and complimentary sake.Join us in savoring the timeless customs of a Japanese New Year, experienced here on a southern island and shared among our staying guests.

New Year's Activity Program "Sanshin Lesson"

A special New Year program led by an Okinawan sanshin instructor, offering an opportunity to experience the unique charm of this traditional instrument.
