Gentleman’ｓ
Formed in December 2010 at the invitation of vocalist Tokky, this five-member acoustic ensemble brings together a collective of seasoned professionals. Each member continues to hone his craft through solo work and support performances across a wide spectrum of genres—pop, soul, rock, jazz, and traditional folk music. Their refined technique and distinctive arrangements have earned them a quiet yet enduring presence within Okinawa’s music scene.

Hisano Touma
After a successful major debut in Tokyo, he returned to Okinawa and now continues his musical journey with renewed focus. Since beginning his solo career in 2006, he has shared his voice across the islands—performing in intimate live houses, cafés, and hotels, where his songs resonate quietly and linger in the air.

Welcoming the New Year at The Uza Terrace Beach Club Villas

On the morning of New Year’s Day, the poolside is filled with gentle, early-spring light.Celebrate the season with performances of classical Ryukyu music, a ceremonial kagami-biraki sake barrel opening, and complimentary celebratory sake.Join us in experiencing the timeless customs of a Japanese New Year, celebrated here on a southern island.

New Year "Chaa Ashibi" A Gathering to Welcome the First Joys of Spring　

We invite you to welcome the New Year with "Chaa Ashibi"—a joyful gathering where families and children can take part in traditional games such as kite flying and hagoita. A return to timeless play, passed down through generations, to begin the year in a spirit of lightness and delight.

Kankara Sanshin Crafting & Playing

Create your own kankara sanshin—a traditional Okinawan instrument with a body made from a tin can. Learn about its history, paint your original design, and enjoy a hands-on folk music experience. Welcome the New Year with its bright, effortless tones, a sound that evokes the warmth and optimism of Okinawa.
