Shunka Kaiseki ~Iki~

Spring unfolds with each course of the Shunka Kaiseki – Iki. Tender mountain vegetables, tender rapeseed greens, bamboo shoots, and new-season burdock are paired with sea bream, halfbeak, rockfish, and clams at their seasonal best. Sashimi is artfully arranged to evoke new growth emerging through lingering snow, while a delicate green pea soup recalls the fresh greenery of spring. Beautifully composed appetizers bring together the colors and flavors of the season, each reflecting the quiet elegance of spring. A graceful kaiseki to share with someone special.
